4th Year Trip to Barcelona

April 5th

The 4th year trip to Barcelona was held on April 5th-9th. We all left in the early hour of 6am. We arrived at Dublin Airport shortly after 7 o'clock. Everyone was very tired and the fact that we had to wait almost an hour before we could check-in did not help! The flight was approximately 2 hours long and we all arrived safely in Reus Airport. Once we were all gathered on the bus we headed to Nou Camp. We were allowed to explore the stadium, changing rooms and museum. When everyone was finished touring the stadium, and had lunch, we travelled to the hotel.

We arrived at the Hotel Venicia Parc at around 6.30pm. When we had all checked in and got our rooms we went for dinner. After dinner we went to a leisure plex in Salou where we went bowling and played arcade games. We eventually got back to the hotel where we all got some much needed rest.

April 6th

Much to everyone's chagrin we were woken the next morning at 7.30am! We quickly had breakfast and got ready for our guided tour of Barcelona. The bus left Salou at 9am. We first visited the staduim where the 1992 Olympic games were held. Then we headed to Nublè Park, which looked amazing. After Nublè Park we went to Barcelona city to see the Barcelona cathedral, and to get something to eat. Once we had all eaten it was time to tour Barcelona harbour on a boat. Once the boat tour was over the tour guide brought us into the city centre where we were allowed to shop around for two hours. Then, after a long and exciting day, they finally brought us back to the hotel where we could rest before the next day when we headed to Port Aventura!
